01 / 05Context
Every sale was closed by hand over messages, one customer at a time.
Carax TCG imports Pokémon TCG products and sells them in Argentina: sealed boxes, single cards by set, language and condition, card lots and figures. Every sale went through Instagram and was closed over WhatsApp, by hand and one customer at a time. The business is run by a single person, who needed an online store able to sell without their involvement, with dollar prices that change every day and a catalog that grows by hundreds of cards.
Solution
A store of its own with built-in payments and a panel run by a single person.
We designed and developed a complete online store with cart, guest checkout and payments from day one. Prices are entered in dollars and shown in pesos at the day's MEP exchange rate, with a manual value the owner can set. Payment goes by card through Mercado Pago or by bank transfer with a 10% discount, which the system reconciles on its own against the account's movements. The owner's panel manages products, photos, stock, prices, shipping by location, orders, refunds and content pages, and loads the catalog in bulk from a spreadsheet. The site is rendered on the server for Google and for WhatsApp and Instagram link previews, and every order status change reaches the customer by email.
